Forestry

The activities of the forestry are aimed at preserving and creating in the territory of the forest fund highly productive, high-quality (biologically stable, optimal species and age composition of forests and forest fauna).

Reforestation measures are being taken at the sites where the forest cutting fund was developed. The composition of future forests, their structure, productivity, and protective properties largely depend on the correspondence of the cultivated tree species to the environmental conditions, their proper mixing in crops, accepted agricultural techniques for soil preparation, quality and timeliness cares.

The main cultivated species on the territory of the forestry are pine and spruce. As accompanying, it is recommended to use European larch, maple, linden, shrubs and fruit species.

To preserve our forests, protective measures are being taken, including:

conducting forest pathological monitoring;

Also, during the fire hazard period, 6 fire observation towers are used for visual observation of forests in the forestry, 5 of them are equipped with video surveillance systems for the forest. In 3 forestries, fire-observation masts were installed, equipped with a video surveillance system for the forest. Their range is up to 25 km. Some fire observation towers have autonomous video surveillance systems that operate on solar energy.

Forest protection is carried out over the entire area of the forestry.
